Review
This review applies to version 2.0
The latest version of this software will soon be reviewed by our
informers.
MemInfo 2.0 is a program that displays the current RAM usage in the system tray. When installed, MemInfo will show some information on the system tray: a small gauge graphic and the amount of memory used by the Page File, both updated in real time. If you point the arrow of the mouse over that info, you will also see the percentage of memory used and the physical memory (installed and used). If you right-click over the tray icon, the program will show a menu. The "Launch Task Manager" option will launch that Windows component. The "Memory Defragmenter" option will launch a tool that will speed up your computer by maximizing the available free memory. The "Settings" option will allow you to customize the way in which the program shows you figures about the free or used memory, the refresh rate and the warnings. You will also be able to choose the fonts and colors used by the program. This customization wasn´t available in previous versions of MemInfo.
This program works under Windows NT 4.0/2000/XP/2003 or Vista, but some features are not available on Windows NT and Windows 2000 |
- It´s a free powerful program to display your memory usage and enhance it.
